‘Youth confronting online hate speech and exploring the notion of citizenship in a digital age’

As part of the Global Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Addressing Hate Speech through Education organized by the UN Office on the Prevention of Genocide and the Responsibility to Protect (OSAPG) and UNESCO, UNAOC is organizing a parallel session focusing on “Youth confronting online hate speech and exploring the notion of citizenship in a digital age”. The session will feature UNAOC programme participants who will explore the evolving notion of digital citizenship, the skills it implies and requires, and discuss good practices from their work and activities in their communities.
