On Friday 13 September 2019, UNAOC will be participating in a high-level working luncheon convened by the President of the General Assembly, H. E. María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, in the margins of the high-level forum devoted to the 20th Anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration and Programme of Action on the Culture of Peace by the General Assembly in resolution A/RES/53/243.
The luncheon will bring together member states and stakeholders to engage in an interactive discussion on the role of partnerships for achieving the SDGs, including through building the culture of peace.
