Indiana State University Office of Diversity will showcase interdisciplinary research in the areas of diversity during the Diversity Research Symposium – Building Community Through Diversity – on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Cunningham Memorial Library. Admission is free.
Following the tradition of prior Diversity Symposiums, the 2012 Diversity Research Symposium will continue to focus on applying diversity research in any discipline that involve cultural identities such as age, race, geographical location, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, socioeconomic class, gender, religion, sexual orientation, nationality, language, and their intersections.
This is your opportunity to present your research and writing in a public forum that includes students, staff, faculty, and members of the community. Students, staff, and faculty are welcomed to submit a proposal. The final program of presenters will be organized by a review panel of Indiana State University staff and faculty.
Proposals are due by Friday, May 13, 2012 at 4pm (EST).
