The European Academy of Yuste Foundation announces its European Research and Mobility Grants for European Studies ‘Charles V European Award – Javier Solana Madariaga’ and its “VI Summer Doctoral Seminar in Contemporary European Multidisciplinary Studies” with the academic support of SEGEI (SocioEconomic Governance and European Identity) Research Network, to take place at the Royal Monastery of Yuste (Extremadura, Spain) in the second semester of 2011. The grants are supported by the Alliance of Civilizations of the United Nations and the European Commission through the Europe for Citizens European Programme.
This European grants announcement, related to the ‘Charles V European Award – Javier Solana Madariaga’, is addressed to European students, and also from countries in the Mediterranean which are not EU Member States, working on a Ph. D. Dissertation in history, political sciences, economics, law and other human and social sciences or in other scientific fields, on the “European Union Foreign Relations and Foreign Policy, and Cooperation in the Mediterranean”, who have not enjoyed a ‘Charles V European Award grant’ in the past.
The European research and mobility grants for European Studies ‘Charles V European Award-Javier Solana Madariaga’ of the European Academy of Yuste Foundation are aimed at supporting the necessary research to prepare the contribution to be submitted at the summer doctoral seminar, the researchers’ travel to participate in the seminars organised in the framework of the this grants edition, and to publish the final version of their contributions.
Candidates should submit their applications from May 16, 2011 to June 25, 2011.
