The fellowship program of the Imre Kertész Kolleg Jena, “Eastern Europe in the 20th Century, Historical Experience in European Perspective” supports interdisciplinary and transnational research on the history of Eastern Europe in the 20th Century.
The Imre Kertész Kolleg was established by the Friedrich-Schiller Universität Jena in October 2010 and is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). For the Academic year 2012/2013 the Kolleg invites applications for fellowships ranging from one to twelve months. We welcome candidates especially from the disciplines of Eastern European history or related fields. They are expected to work at the Imre Kertész Kolleg and to reside in Jena.
Funding ranges from € 3.500 to € 5.300 per month according to the academic position at the home institution (+ accommodation allowance).
