Statement Attributable to the Spokesperson for the High-Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations

On the sidelines of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly , the High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, Mr. Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser held talks with H.E. Dr. R.M. Marty Natalegawa, the Foreign Minister of Indonesia. The talks focused on the preparations for the upcoming 6th Global Forum of the Alliance of Civilizations, which Indonesia will be hosting in Bali in August 2014.
Mr. Al-Nasser commended Indonesia’s support for the Alliance and expressed his wish that this support would continue leading to a successful Forum.
Dr. Natalegawa will be leading his country’s delegation at the Alliance Group of Friends Ministerial meeting convened by the High Representative in September 27th, 2013.
